General

Each team member will receive an accreditation card, which must be worn at all times and should be clearly visible. The accreditation is not transferable and does not allow the holder to take another person beyond checkpoints.

Accreditation Centre

The Accreditation Centre will be located at Cluj Arena.

The Team Leaders shall report to the accreditation center on 18 June 2021 (after the official training) in order to carry out the administrative payment procedures and receive the competition bibs.

Note: the accreditation cards will be the distributed to the Team Leader at the respective team hotel after he/she receives from the LOC the confirmation about the medical clearance of his/her team members.

Accreditation Procedure

Accreditation cards will be prepared in advance, based on the information provided by the Member Federation through the European Athletics event management system. No changes will be accepted after the final entries deadline.

The Team Leader will be asked to complete the following formalities before he/she can collect the bib numbers for the whole team:

  • LOC accommodation invoice
  • Uniform check
  • Collection of competition related forms and information
  • Confirmation of departure details

Any lost or damaged accreditation cards should be reported in the accreditation center. Duplicate cards can be obtained where proof of identity can be established at a charge of 50 €.

Unauthorised use of an Accreditation card will result in the card being confiscated.

Access Areas for Teams and Special Passes

All team accreditation cards will allow access to the team seating area, warm-up and training areas, changing facilities and physiotherapy rooms. Only athletes who are about to compete will have access to the call room and to the infield. Furthermore, the accreditation can be used to access the Team Shuttle Buses.

All coaching zones will be within the team areas, therefore no coaching zone pass will be distributed for the event.

European Athletics will provide one Medical Pass to each team to access the main medical centre located on the ground floor of Cluj Arena (see Map of competition venue).

Due to the Covid-19 situation, in case your Member Federation’s President and/or General Secretary/CEO are planning on attending the event, we remind you that they will be required to be accredited either as a team member and therefore entered into the final entries, or as a VIP and therefore registered into the European Athletics’ Event Management System. No team members will be granted any VIP access.

Furthermore, Team Press Liaisons will not be granted any media access, but a separate working area will be installed within the team area (near the mixed zone).
