Accreditation
General Information
Each person involved in the European Athletics Indoor Championships will receive an accreditation card that must be worn and be clearly visible at all times.
The accreditation is personal and non-transferable and any unauthorised or improper use of an accreditation card may result in its withdrawal and the rights of its holder being revoked.
The accreditation card is the property of European Athletics and may be withdrawn at any time.
Accreditation Collection
The Media Accreditation Centre is located near Ataköy Arena and has the following opening times:

In order to collect your accreditation, you will have to present your passport or ID card (the same used for your accreditation request in the Event Management System).
Please note that accreditations can only be collected by their holder.
Lost Accreditation Card
A lost accreditation is a potential security risk and will be managed very carefully by EA/LOC Security. Any lost or damaged accreditation cards should be reported immediately at the Media Accreditation Centre.
Access Areas
The accreditation for press representatives will give them access to the Media Centre, Press Tribunes and Press Mixed Zone. The accreditation for photographers will give them access to the Media Centre, Photo Work Area and Photo Positions, but not to the Mixed Zone.
Furthermore, all media accreditations give access to the Media Shuttle Buses that are running between Ataköy Arena and the official media hotel. Media representatives can also use public transport for free with their accreditation cards.

Security personnel will control all areas.
The accreditation card is not transferable and does not allow its holder to take third parties beyond checkpoints.

Courtyard by Marriott Istanbul West is located approximately 7.5 kilometres from Ataköy Arena.
Payment & Cancellation Policy
Payment
- After your booking, an email will be sent with your accommodation invoice and details on how to proceed with your payment.
- You are kindly requested to proceed with payment no later than five (5) working days after receipt of this email in order to guarantee your hotel booking.
- The confirmation of your accommodation booking will be guaranteed only after receipt of the full payment of your accommodation cost.
- Failure to adhere to these payment terms will result in the cancellation of your reservation.
Cancellation Policy
- For any cancellation made until 5 February 2023, no cancellation fee will be charged.
- For any cancellation made as from 6 February 2023, 100% of your total accommodation cost will be charged as a cancellation fee, unless the room is resold.
Transportation
Media Shuttle
There is a media shuttle service for all accredited media between the official media hotel and Ataköy Arena. Please make sure to have your accreditation visible when boarding the shuttle and to be at the pick-up location no later than 5 minutes prior to the scheduled departure.
If you are yet to collect your event accreditation, a confirmation letter can be used instead (printed or electronic).

Public Transport
Media representatives have access to public transport in Istanbul for free by showing their accreditation card to Security Personnel or to the driver.
Catering
The Media Catering Area is located in Sinan Erdem Arena, next to the Media Centre. The opening times are as follows:

During the general opening times, only hot and cold drinks will be sold.
Hot meals will be served during the lunch and dinner times indicated above.
Refreshment stations with free tea, coffee, water and snacks will also be available in the Media Centre.
Medical Services
The LOC Medical Service is in charge of any medical assistance in the Arena to all accredited guests (Teams, LOC personnel, VIP guests, and Media).
Outside the official opening hours of the official venues and medical facilities, media representatives shall contact the on-call 24/7 medical assistance: +90 532 413 0420.
Emergency Number
In case of emergency, please contact the nearest medical first aid station or call the 24/7 Medical Emergency number 112.
