Official Airport and Welcome Services
The official airports are Katowice and Kraków International Airports. Katowice Airport is located 38 km and Kraków Airport is located 68 km from the Silesia Stadium. On both airports the LOC will provide adequate welcome services.
Upon arrival at Katowice and Kraków Airport the teams will be met by the LOC.

Arrival By Road
Teams arriving by road are kindly asked to go directly to Main Testing Centre located in Śląski Park Etnograficzny Parkowa 25, 41-500 Chorzów , where representatives from the LOC will welcome them.
Entry Visas
No country currently need visa to enter Poland:
For Ukraine it is possible to enter Poland without visa only with a biometric passport.
If not, Ukrainian federation should contact the [email protected]well in advance and send the list of participants, containing the surname, first name, nationality, date of birth, passport number, date of delivery and expiration as well as position in the team (e.g. athlete, official), for all persons who could be part of the team coming to Poland.
The LOC will then send an official invitation letter to proceed with visa application. Holders of valid Schengen visas can freely enter Poland without additional visa.
Insurance
According to the European Athletics Competition Regulations, the participating Member Federations are responsible for taking out their own insurance to cover the risk of illness or injury of any member of their team when travelling to and from the European Athletics event and during the event itself. Please take the necessary steps to fulfil these requirements well in advance.
Local Transportation
Transportation between the team hotels and the various venues, including official and social functions, will be guaranteed by the LOC shuttle service.
To the competition venue
Transfer times between the team hotels and the competition venue will be between 15 and 35 minutes, depending on the hotel location and traffic conditions.

Transportation of Equipment
Each team is responsible for organising the transport of its poles until its arrival in city. Upon arrival at official airport, the pick-up of the poles will be arranged by the LOC who will transfer them to the Training Area located at Silesian Stadium, where they will be at the athlete`s disposal. All poles or bag of poles shall bear the identification of the athlete (tag of the name, country, event, number of poles per bag).
After the morning training session have finished, poles will be transferred to the main Stadium.
After the event, the poles will be transferred to the Silesian Stadium Reception Desk, waiting for the last transportation to the airport at the end of the Championship.
Departure
A
shuttle service will also be in place for team departures. The frequency of
this service will be based on the departure schedule, which will be posted at
the Information Desk of each team hotel at least 24 hours before departure.
Teams will be asked to provide full travel details together with the final entries. Team leader will have to confirm departure details during the accreditation process. Any changes to the provided details shall be communicated to the LOC (Information Desk at the team hotel), at least 48 hours before departure.
