European Athletics – LOC Dinner

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation, no European Athletics – LOC Dinner will be organised.

Opening Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony will take place on 29 May at the Silesian Stadium.

No team members will be involved.

Victory Ceremony

The victory ceremony for the three first teams will take place on Sunday 30 May, after the 4x400m relays. 

For the 3rd and 2nd positions, only the team captain will go infield. Other team members will stay in the Team Tribune. The athletes will receive disinfected medals through their Team Leader ahead of the official part of the Victory Ceremony.

Only the athletes of the winning team will be allowed infield to receive the trophy. The athletes will enter with their medal around their neck. The winning team, as well as the team captain of the 2nd and 3rd positions, must wear their official team clothing, the presentation bib as well as the FFP2 or KN95 class mask provided by the LOC. No other items shall be taken to the podium, such as flags, bags or other.

Closing Party

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation, no Closing Party will be organised.
