Media Centre
The media centre will be located at the venue on Saturday and Sunday. On Friday a media room will be available in the DoubleTree hotel.
The media centre will be open as follows:
The media centre offers all accredited journalists and photographers the following:
- Welcome Desk – Results printer will be provided by ATOS
- Workstations for accredited media and photographers with electricity plugs (Plug types C, E & F)
- Internet connection (Limited wire connection &WIFI)
- TV screens with live signal
- Bib pick up for photographers (during photography briefing)
- Media refreshments
Media Tribune
There will be a purpose-built media tribune located near the finish line for all accredited media. Capacity of the media tribune is 30 seats. This designated area will be equipped with tables, limited wired internet connection and Wi-Fi connection.

Photographers Briefing
The photographers briefing will take place at 11:00 at the media centre on Sunday 10 December. Photographer bibs will be distributed during the briefing. All accredited photographers must attend the briefing as this will be the only time the bibs will be distributed to the photographers. Following the distribution of the bibs there will be a walk-through and explanation of the course including the finish line area. All photo positions will be specified during the briefing.
Press Conference
An official press conference will be held at the Atomium, next to race venue on Saturday 10 December at 12:00.
The following athletes will be present:
Chloe Herbiet – 2023 Belgian cross country champion and Eindhoven Marathon winner
Isaac Kimeli – 2023 Belgian cross country champion and 2022 European cross country bronze medallist
Niels Laros – European U20 1500m and 5000m champion and world 1500m finalist
Megan Keith – European U23 5000m champion and 2021 European U20 cross country champion
Internet Connection
The media centre, the mixed zone and media tribune on the venue will be served by a free Wi-Fi internet service. A limited cable internet zone will be available in the media tribune, as well as the media centre.
Mixed Zone
The Mixed Zone will be situated in a tent close to the finish line and next to the media centre.
Virtual Media Centre
European Athleticsand our Broadcast Partner Eurovision Sport have created a Remote Media Centre – a browser-based platform – to allow all Member Federations to watch the live action and access information that would normally be available to you in a physical Media Centre.
The Remote Media Centre will be opened shortly and you are invited to explore the platform at your earliest convenience: SPAR EXCH Brussels 2023 Remote Media Centre

The following services will be provided:
• Watch live streams
• Watch live athlete flash interviews,
• Access Event Information and Publications,
• Access the Photo Gallery and media banks (limited to registered users),
• Chat with others.
INTERVIEW REQUEST
The possibility to conduct interviews and engage with athletes will be available through the Flash Quotes position in the Mixed Zone.
Requests will have to be submitted in advance to: Biljana Danicic or directly via the chat option in the VMC platform.
Official Media Shuttle Buses
Transport from the media hotel to venue and return will be provided. Please refer to the information board in the hotel for the shuttle bus schedule.
Lost and Damaged Accreditation Card
Lost or damaged accreditation cards should be reported to the Media Accreditation Centre.
