Media Accreditation
Foreign media representatives and all other accredited media representatives can collect their accreditation at the Main Accreditation Centre, located at the Competition Venue (Cesta olympionikov 1271/28, 974 04 Banská Bystrica, Slovakia). There will be a limited number of parking places dedicated for accreditation pick-up.
Each media representative receives an accreditation card, which needs to be collected in person, and must be worn at all times and should be clearly visible. Security personnel will control all areas. Media accreditation cards allow access to the Media Centre, Media Tribune and Mixed Zone. All access to other zones is limited.
Accreditation is not transferable and does not allow the holder to take another person beyond checkpoints.
Any lost or damaged accreditation cards should immediately be reported to Media Centre or any information desk. Duplicate cards can be obtained where proof of identity is established. Unauthorised use of an accreditation card will result in the card being confiscated.

Official Airport and Welcome Services
The official airports are:
● Vienna Airport (VIE), located 277 km from Banská Bystrica/SVK (representing a 2h35min drive), connected to major European hubs
● Bratislava Airport (BTS), located 212 km from Banská Bystrica/SVK (representing a 2h00min drive), but with reduced service.
Upon arrival at the airport, please report to the Welcome Desk. In order to have guaranteed transportation upon arrival from the airport, to the Main Accreditation Centre, your travel details must have been entered in the registration system at the latest by 26 June 2024.
Outside of the Main Accreditation Centre opening hours, transport upon arrival to your hotel will only be provided if you are staying in the official media hotel.
Arrival by road
Media arriving by road are kindly asked to go directly to the Main Accreditation Centre where representatives from the LOC will welcome them at the Information Desk. Parking slots will be given away by the LOC media staff to selected media.

Participants who require a visa should contact the Banská Bystrica 2024 LOC and send all
relevant details (as listed below) as soon as possible to obtain a special invitation letter and visa
application information. It is crucial that relevant information is received in due time as otherwise entry to
Slovak Republic may not be guaranteed.
Requests for invitation letters shall be supported with the following information:
● Full name (first name and family name as shown in passport),
● Function in the Team (e.g. athlete, official),
● Gender,
● Date of birth,
● Passport Number and Passport Expiry Date (passports should be valid for at least 6
months after the end of the competition).

During the Competition
Media Shuttle
As the competition venue is a 10 minute walk from the official hotel, no dedicated transport will be organised between Hotel Dixon and the competition venue.
Accredited media will be able to use their accreditation card to use public transport in Banská Bystrica free of charge.
Departure
Departure transfer is only organised for those who booked official accommodation through the LOC. The frequency of this service will be based on the departure schedule, and will be posted at the Information Desk in the official hotel at least 24 hours before departure.
