The media centre will be open as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table alignleft caption-align-center is-style-stripes\"><table><tbody><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\"><strong>DATE<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>OPENING TIME<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">Friday 6 December<\/td><td>12:00 \u2013 18:00<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">Saturday 7 December<\/td><td>09:00 \u2013 18:00<\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">Sunday 8 December<\/td><td>09:00 \u2013 18:00<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The media centre offers all accredited journalists and photographers the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Welcome Desk <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Workstations for accredited media and photographers with electricity plugs (Plug types C, &amp; F)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Internet connection (Limited wire connection &amp;WIFI)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>TV screens with live signal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Media refreshments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Media Tribune<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be  media tribune located near the finish line for all accredited media. Capacity of the media tribune is 120 seats. This designated area will be equipped with tables, limited wired internet connection and Wi-Fi connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please see map for the location of the media tribune at the venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Photographers Briefing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Time: 14:00 p.m. (Local Time)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Venue: Media Centre<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Date: 7 December<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Press Conference<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>An official press conference will be held at the Modern Art Gallery, inside Dokumapark, close to race venue on Saturday 7th December at 12:15.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Internet Connection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The media centre, the mixed zone and media tribune on the venue will be served by a free Wi-Fi internet service. A limited cable internet zone will be available in the media tribune, as well as the media centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Digital Media Centre<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>European Athletics and our Broadcast Partner EBU have designed a Digital Media Centre \u2013 a browser-based platform \u2013 to allow all journalists, member federations and athletes to watch the live action and simultaneously access all the information that is normally available to media in a physical Media Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Digital Media Centre will be opened shortly, and you are invited to explore the platform at your earliest convenience:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ea.mediacenter.tv\/\"><strong>https:\/\/ea.mediacenter.tv<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those who are not registered yet, please start by following the steps below.<br>\u2022 Go to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/vmc.ebu.ch\/\">https:\/\/vmc.ebu.ch\/<\/a><br>\u2022 Login or create an account at&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/vmc.ebu.ch\/\">vmc.ebu.ch<\/a><br>\u2022 Once your account is created, click on \u201c<strong>Request Access<\/strong>\u201d under \u201cEuropean Athletics\u201d.<br>\u2022 If you have problems with your registration, please contact&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:vmc@ebu.ch\"><strong>vmc@ebu.ch<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Services Available<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Virtual Media Centre will offer a wide variety of services, useful to both on-site and remote media, such as:<br>\u2022 Watch live streams (Integrated Feed and Isolated Production Feeds for field events),<br>\u2022 Watch live athletes\u2019 flash interviews,<br>\u2022 Access Event Information and Publications,<br>\u2022 Access the Photo Gallery and media banks (limited to registered users),<br>\u2022 Chat with moderators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Virtual Mixed Zone \u2013 Interview Request<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides having access to all the services available in the Digital Media Centre (as described above),&nbsp;remote journalists&nbsp;will be offered preferential access to the \u201cVirtual Mixed Zone\u201d. This service will allow remote journalists to request and download (limited to rights distribution) interviews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The possibility to conduct interviews and engage with your athletes will be available through the live Flash Quotes position in the Mixed Zone. Requests will have to be submitted in advance to:&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"mailto:media@european-athletics.org\">media@european-athletics.org<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;or via the chat option directly in the VMC platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Official Media Shuttle Buses<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Transport from the media hotel to venue and return will be provided.
